Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I might be online, but I don't know about doing that challenge you should be able to get some SitRep equipment destroys on there either team will do.
 
those of you that have prestiged, have you any tips on how to level up fast ?

The lads at work are trying to get a group of us together to play MW3, but they've chosen to play on PS3. I own both so its just a question of buying a cheap pre owned copy (£18 from the rainforrest) but it means i'm back to level one with none of my favourite guns or perks.

Any tips on what to do when starting from scratch ? i deliberately don't prestige so i don't have to do this lol.
 
kill confirmed - go for the tags and run specialist with hardline alternating perks until you get the 150 times bonus and don't drop hardline for anything as assists help (and also give a bonus of there own) toward the xp and getting the fist perk bonus. You should hit 80 in about 100-150 games

Recon is good too when combined with Hardline. If you throw a tactical grenade as soon as the match begins on Dome for instance, you have six potential assists.
 
I tend to switch weapons as soon as i get mastery can do a few of them in 1 prestige to get the points, espically if u use all the attachemets as well, also do the challenges daily and weekly and the easier 1 to get like flash, stun etc etc.
 
I haven't looked at the Improve section on Elite for months now so I missed the introduction of the KD & SPM per map. I'm not sure what I can do to improve on Dome most of the problems stem from the size and layout.

I found kill confirmed & team defender not bad for level up and as said try to do lots of different weapon challenges should see you shoot up the ranks well at least in the earlier ranks anyway .
 
What prestige are people on ??? i am 5th prestige soon to be 6th but i could have been a lot higher if i didnt give the game a break for at least a month (it was doing my head in :p) and this prestige i have got at least 500 kills and got max pro with the l86 - mg36 & mk46 and still not sure about the lmg's even after the patch , i was a fan of lmg's in cod4 & mw2 what is your opinion of them ???

tommyv managed a prestige in 92~ games using the method I posted I was averaging about 110-130 games.


Got to 10th in early January did 11th slowly and tbh I cba anymore.

I played a fair bit at the weekend and it is still hit & miss for me , on saturday morning i had 6 games with all the same people in the lobby and the first 3 games was great sniping with hardly any hit detection problems then 2 games in a row with quite a few hitmarkers .
 
Sniping is such a bad judge on connection lag in this game because the multipliers and body hits all equate to different base multipliers, Sniping is a one hit kill on some parts of the body but not all.

Mlingard you can not guarantee that every shot was upper body/head, therefore basing it on "it must be the connection" is just plain wrong. If you can guarantee that the lobby was the same for every game you had then the host would have been the same all the way through.
