I'm guessing the GA-Z77X-UD3H can use the new Ivy chip as well as the GA-Z77X-UD5H. Or they can use the i3, i5 or i7.

So is there a lot of difference between them? I have 16GB 1600 MHz RAM

Thanks

mostly the power phases, the ud5 has more and better onboard sound chip, either board will clock very high so its down to the fine details

There appears to be a difference in how the PCIEX4 slot shares bandwidth. On the cheaper board, Z77X-UD3H, this shares bandwidth with the PCIe x1 slots. When a PCIe x4 card is installed in PCIEX4 all PCIe x1 slots become unavailable. In contrast the more expensive Z77X-UD5H, the PCIEX4 slot shares bandwidth with the other two PCI Express x16 slots so whilst those are reduced in bandwidth as you'd expect, it doesn't disable the PCIe x1 slots.
