I have spent some time on designing this and I know they are all compatible together. But I was wondering whether someone might have a better idea. I wish it to be in a similar budget range.

Processor - Ivy Bridge should be out in a couple of weeks.

PSU - 850W is overkill unless you want it for future upgrades

Motherboard - Get a Z77 as they can be had for similar money to Z68

GPU - HD 7850 and clock the nuts off it

Case - You won't want an "Nvidia Edition" if you get an AMD GPU

RAM - You could buy a bit cheaper but whatever

I am not sure on buying AMD I always saw that they were cheaper but why do you pay the extra money for Nvidia?

I don't think you need to worry about the whys just look at the performance.

There's no guarantee with overclocking but look at how far you can potentially overclock the HD 7850:

How to overclock a 7850 past 1050MHz?

If I was spending ~£200 on a new GPU today it's what I'd buy.
