Promiscuous girls/women

Couldn't care less how many people a girl has been with tbh. If you care about safety then you will be safe regardless. What else if there? Some prudish version of being worried about being compared to? Or something?

I think it's more the fact of realising they have no self respect.
 
I think a lot of girls at that age feel under a lot of social pressure especially when your living in small towns like less than 10,000 type of size. I must have been brought up pretty strict because i remember being pretty shocked by it all.

I wouldn't necessarily deny that, but when i was that age i did have a few offers but thought i'd try and do the honourable thing and wait for a serious gf or wife.

Men sleep around as much as women. There is nothing wrong with it providing they are being safe.

Eg I was going out with a girl last year, (I'm remaining til marriage) who swore she had only had one partner.

Cue me finding out 5 months down the line she had had at least 15!

Needless to say she went.



edit: this attitude isn't that uncommon, plenty of girls at my uni have said that they will lie about the figures they have slept with. :(

lol. She obviously knew about your silly view and because she wanted to be with you, she didn't let on the whole story. Sounds pretty honourable to me.
 
Why does having numerous sexual partners have to mean a lack of self respect? Maybe they enjoy sex, and choose to do what they want, as it doesn't harm anyone.

Why wouldn't they have self respect? Are women not supposed to enjoy sex or something?

While it can be argued that women (and men) who habitually sleep with as many people as they can are exhibiting behaviour that usually points to some form of abuse in their past (not necessarily sexual) to label any woman that racks up a score of over 10 men as some sort of low esteem self hating **** is just unbelievably ridiculous and Victorian.

I've never understood the fascination with men wanting virgins (other than the narcissistic notion of claiming undiscovered country). I mean, who wants to be in a relationship where your partner has no idea about what pleases you both and isn't comfortable with their body etc.

How am I judgemental. I honestly don't give a flying **** if someone sleeps around. Seriously, the very vast majority of my friends do it! I can even see the attraction in it.

However it's not me. I personally believe that sex signifies more than just some fun, it's a step taken with someone really special.

But it seems like you are condoning someone lying about it as a result of my attitude. Can you not see that we are not mutually compatible. I don't go around shagging and don't think highly of it. She did. That's always going to create issues.

Nothing wrong with prostitution as long as it's been a choice of the people involved and there are no outside pressures.

Remember, prostitution isn't illegal.

I wasn't talking about 10+. I was referring to the ones who have been round everyone. More like 50+

And why would you not respect someone's viewpoint enough? If she wanted to shag around then that's fair enough, but it took my interest in her away once I found out. That and the fact she LIED about something so important in a relationship.

I would certainly hope women enjoy sex, when I'm married or with the girl I want to be with, it's going to be a most fun ride for the next 50 years. I haven't wait til my early twenties for a few shags a month. :p

It's not relevant to the issue.
