5.25" Mesh Bay Cover

I have a BitFenix Merc Alpha Case

and I'm looking to mod it to add a 120mm front fan in the 5.25" bays. The idea is to feed air straight to the 212 EVO cooler and then out the exhaust.

Overclockers sell these Lian Li BZ-501B bay covers, does anyone know if they fit cases other than Lian Li ones, or are there any other alternatives?

I don't see why you would have a problem as they are designed to fit 5.25" drives. I don't see why Bitfenix would be any different to any other case as they fitted my silverstone case fine.

I have seen them be used on Silverstone TJ07 so yes they should fit on any 5.25" bays

I forgot to mention; on a couple of the listings on other sites, it says: "Only suitable for Lian Li cases." But maybe that just means aesthetically.

I will probably buy them because I can't see why they wouldn't fit.

But can anyone think of any alternatives anyway?

The lian-li models are unsuitable for other cases as they just pop in with those little dimples.

Something like a Scythe Karma bay would be a better option.
