It seems Israel striking Iran is getting nearer and nearer. I know there is a lot of differenng opinions on this in GD.

TL; CBA watching version. A decision to attack Iran was taken years ago. That day is getting nearer and nearer. China and Russia is on Iran’s side. There is currently a big build up of troops, weapons, warships etc in the Middle East from both sides.

In short World War 3 is coming soon.

The first video says "take down 7 countries in 5 years". The Iraq war started 2003, so they're 4 years late.

In short, the padded White van is coming very soon.

Plans are always drawn up we and every other country will have 10s of thousands of plans and contingencies drawn up for pretty much everything.
Just political posturing.
 
Everyone except Israel knows attacking Iran would be ridiculous and counterproductive. Israel know they can't do anything more than annoy Iran a bit without the help of the USA, who do not seem keen on the idea.
 
There was no wreckage on 9/11....and no planes......and bombs........and other stuff too, I tell ya, it was a cover up!!!

We'll be even more broke if somebody decides to kick off in Iran, it'll almost certainly trigger an oil price shock on a scale not seen before.

I agree. But we can obviously only control what we (as a Country) do. The US and Israel wouldn't listen to us.
 
If there was a war between Israel and Iran, could Israel do an entirely air power based war, using bombing runs and long range missiles to destroy all of Irans nuclear capabilities? Or would Iran sufficiently protect their assets from air and long range missiles attacks that it would force Israel putting troops on the ground and having a long drawn out conflict?
