Help Dark Souls on PC!

wow not another video where tb mouths off over something hes not happy about - man that guy is one big massive douche isnt he.

not signing , i have never had any problems with gfwl and i actually value that it links 360 achievements if anything. man its just another thing to login to and forget about - whats the problem!

I've experienced GFWL once. I bought a game for 10 pence, couldn't use it, couldn't login for a week, gave up trying.

That said, I will be purchasing this. One of the greatest (and hardest) RPGs ever made coming to significantly more powerful hardware? Can't wait to see how good it looks!

Did you even listen to it? You sound like a petulant child with no consideration for other people.
 
This game has far bigger problems its being done by the same team behind the recent awful console based Silent Hill HD Collection :eek: which was missing a lot of content & had no care/attention/love whastoever :mad: as detailed here on page 2 by me & others:

Its obviously a very low budget port & GFWL is a lock if Namco are using the same studio who ruined Silent Hill HD Collection :( Time for you petitioners to ask Namco for a new developer instead methinks ;)

will it just be a lazy port? probably look no different.
 
I don't like GFWL, I'd rather they didn't use it, but I would still buy the game even if they did.

I've not had any real bad experiences with it, other than it slows me down in getting into the game. e.g. Got Dirt 3 on Steam, then I have to log in to GFWL.

Saying that, it doesn't add any value to me. Perhaps it adds some value if you use GFWL to buy games, or have an XBOX Live account, but to me it is just something I need to log in and that's all it does.
 
To be honest im not to bothered about what software is used for the online aspect of it im just glad there bringing it to pc :)
i have nearly finished my NG+ on my ps3 so new areas weapons items and npc's on the pc version will mean i will be getting this straight away.
 
Let's face - even if it looks exactly the same and runs no better than the console versions it'll still be the best thing to hit the PC this year :)

I read it will use the same textures as the Console version, if true, that IS Lazy.

Remember this content is not "exclusive" to the PC and will come out as DLC to the consoles at some point.

I will wait and see what happens but they could have done MUCH better.
 
Console ports do not bother me at all, long as I get to play the game. If it is playable on the 360 which I assume it is then I am happy to have that the same on the PC. Extra frame rates are always a bonus though.

Lazy? You are calling them lazy for not re-texturing the ENTIRE game because you are too obsessed with "shiny graphics"?

That is incredibly childish, in fact most of this thread is full of childishness entitlement.
