The above normally bring 50+ people to the line battles, there's loads of smaller regiments who bring around 30 people at a time. Regiment forum is here.

There's also public events where all you need to do is go onto a teamspeak and they'll tell you your team etc but I'd recommend a regiment it's a better and more organised experience.

Hrm, the think I like about M&B:W is the weapons. I can't help thinking that artillery and firearms would ruin it for me a little, I quite like getting up close and personal. :)

This isn't Call of Duty, the muskets are inaccurate as they would have been at the time and they take roughly 25-30 seconds to reload. It is mostly a melee game. I'm part of a melee focused regiment myself.
 
Started playing mount and musket due to this thread. Really looking forward to this release so much so i have applied to the 92nd Highlanders! So thanks PsychoPigeon for that.
 
We will release on:

19th of April

It will be on steam, gamersgate, taleworlds and many other sites, we will keep you up to date on that.
Steam will probably not hold a pre-sale, but gamersgate is.

Price for steam will be about the same as gamersgate.

Good choice! I'm in the 92nd so good luck with your application. We are a large and disciplined regiment with a great combat record and community rep.

if you buy the steam version will it work with the downloaded version from the website?
where does it say the time its out, i don't see it on steam yet..

There doesn't seem to be a concrete answer from the devs on this issue.

They've stated if you have Steam Warband then downloading the gamersgate Napoleonic Wars will not be compatible. That's all they've said so far.

It's on Steam at 6pm BST
