i suspect that £20 increase is to lesson the damage of the 10% voucher. Sucks alittle![]()
Its because I priced them wrong, my mistake, hence the increase, but those who pre-ordered had their orders honoured.
Still the price has gone up by 4%, those with 10% vouchers, make sure you use it.![]()
Thats the plan for me! and it seems a good amount of other people too. Ideally you should just email everyone and clean up.
i ordered a gtx 680 4gb palit last week , i noticed they are in stock now . how come my card aint been dispached yet ?
I should do the same too then, I pre-ordered the KFA2 4GB last week with the Samsung monitors and it's been sitting in the warehouse queue for a long time. I assume it won't be despatched until the release date, or the day before?

Your order shall be waiting for the KFA2 cards to arrive, if you want the monitors shipping seperately just give sales a call and ask them to backorder your KFA2 card for you.![]()
Out of interest, the Palit Jetsteam 4GB review is up for those that need it - link.
9% improvement in 3dMark11 4GB X3341 vs reference 2GB X3063 (take results lightly as other reviews scores differ on similar testbenches, simply an indication). Similar performance (2GB Vs 4GB highest res) with the rest of the usual runs.
Reading on - we know already - games are fine on recent GPUs with plenty of AF, AA. 2GB is no obstacle up to 1200p as Cleeecooo will testify. There is NO overclocking or multiscreen tests !! Alternative reviews should be up soon hopefully.

TT Review said:Straight away we can see the performance improvement on offer from the Palit JetStream GTX 680 4GB when compared to the reference card. The problem is with the way Dynamic Overclocking works is the card performing faster because of the better cooler that Palit are offering, or is the 4GB of GDDR5 helping push FPS further?
No-one really considers dual GPU cards though. It's a very small amount of poeple that it makes sense for when you consider the downclocking, heat and price downside
yes it's now a waiting game, there's not a lot else to post in right now..
the GTX 690 might be more efficient than the 590/ overclock far better, run cooler etc, because Nvidia did say that they were working on this problem.... but this is only a rumour ok
in comparison, the dual card that might still have these problems is the 7990, AMD are far more tight lipped about future cards than Nvidia, all the bull**** seems to come from Nvidia, dont know, maybe it's just their fanboys![]()

It may have better ratios than the 590 did but it's still not going to be a worthwhile card to get. No dual GPU card really is.
The 690 is almost certain to be hotter and more expensive than having two separate 680 cards. Why would you consider it based on these points?
I'd also say based on previous dual GPU releases by both AMD and nVidia it's likely to be downclocked as well. This isn't rumour - it's just common sense based on the history of these models.
