After RMAing my second 580, I'm going to treat myself and get a 680 as a way to compensate for all that unnecessary stress. I want an EVGA 680 but they are seeming to never come in stock, what would be second best..Gigabyte brand?

Hi there

In terms of warranty:-

1. You can deal with OcuK on all cards and were now ace. :)
2. EVGA & Gigabyte are both 3yr and superb.
3. KFA2 is also superb but 2yr.
4. Gainward is average and 2yr.

Therefor yes Gigabyte is your best bet, EVGA just can't ship any volume to anyone. :(

Gigabyte dropped 200 on us today, we have approx 130pc left. :)

Our customer/RMA service has always had room for imrovement, yes it has been improving over the last couple of years and there has certainly being competitors with far worse, but since the Caseking takeover it has improved even more so. OK were still not perfect, but I can say I think were now amongst the best if not one of the best in the UK and certainly the best we've ever being. :)

Problem with EVGA is we get regular weekly deliveries of 10-20 cards, but they are always pre-sold so rarely show in stock.

My advice buy what is in stock available, remember they are all reference anyway unless stated otherwise.

To be fair I've only ever RMA'd one thing - a DoA 775 socket Gigabyte board - and it was OK. You guys messed up and sent it back saying the socket cover was missing and therefore void but after pointing out it was just the sticker missing, when you guys got it back you turned it over really quickly. An honest mistake and I was happy with the overall experience.

Well Im in the process of testing out your RMA service ;) I got an email from you guys today saying you received my 580 so hopefully it will be tested tomorrow :D

Any chance you'd be kind enough to list what's changed?

Interested in this also. Does this mean you test the card and replace it (if needed) yourselves without having to send it off around Europe?

If so, consider yourselves the only place i'll buy cards from now on. Always annoys me that some companies expect you to wait a month to replace a product!

Well in the email they sent me they said the RMA would take 5 days. Though I had my 580 for less than 7 days (2 hours to be exact)

Gibbo is right, the service is sooooo much better than it was, been dealing with ocuk on and off for years, used to get allot of problems and issues, false information but to be fair, the last few years have been excellent, any problems have been dealt with quickly and rma process has been smooth.

I went back to msi 680 after being put off by evga customer service (unless you kick up a public fuss) a friend got a giga one - both have been great, no issues and happy.

Good to know, I think I will go for the gigabyte version, I really want a backplate though (I care about aesthetics ) but they only seem to sell EVGA backplates :(

I also noticed the Gigabyte 680 went up £5 overnight ....
