galaxy gtx680 4gb edition

Hi there

These are KFA2.

For Europe Galaxy sell under KFA2 branding.
For far East, Galaxy is sold as Galaxy.

The OC LTD Edition cards are the 2GB and 4GB custom PCB cards we sell, listed for pre-order.

The hall of fame KFA2 card will be available later this week exclusively via OcUK. :)

Hey Gibbo,

Any word on pricing for the Hall of Fame edition? I was going down the 7970 route but love the look of the HOF edition so may hold on for that?

Thanks :)

Did Galaxy go bust and return or is it a new company just caled Galaxy?

i'm looking forward to inspecting this HOF edition card... ..and if the price is right..who knows

im getting excitedddddd, i hope the HOF edition (imo the only custom pcb so far that will be on par with zotacs 1.4ghz upcoming custom pcb) will be availible in 2gb variation, don't want to spend extra for the 4gb..

btw how long is this 10% voucher promotion on for?

The price won't be right, the price will be stupid and take advantage of us. It will be a hall of fail £569-£599 IMO.

My top of the range HD6990 was a DUAL GPU and only cost £530 new, so why single cards are still so much is beyond me. I am grateful for the good choice of cards OCUK are bringing to us all, but not the prices.

Three mini-HDMI ports and one DP so the card is useless for 120Hz surround gaming as AFAIK HDMI does not support faster than 60Hz at 1920x1080.

I think your are correct.

What a waste!

4GB card crippled by poor interface choice!

a HDMI 1.4a cable does support 120hz, but current displays using HDMI don't

1080p120 (1080p603D) aren't mandatory requirements to claim HDMI 1.4a support, but if both the devices at each end support it then it would work

the problem is that HDMI enabled display devices are still using cheap 225mhz processors even though 300mhz ones have been available since 2010

afaik GTX680 does have a 300mhz HDMI transmitter, but most diplays don't have 300mhz receivers
