Yeh, I've done all of the reasonably easy stuff. Just need a tormented or opp wep for my 30th point. Not interested in the titles tbh, the grind of cartographer and skills doesn't appeal. Probably just play RA on and off till GW2 hits properly. 7th bday pressies should be around soon.

Playing a beta can spoil the game. If you find lots of bugs (hopefully shouldn't be a problem with GW2 from what I've seen), having to repeat early levelling zones if your chars get wiped, already knowing the game instead of it being new and exciting etc.

I was pretty excited about SW:TOR and enjoyed the beta but when EA screwed up my account and I couldn't log in, it didn't bother me enough for me to sort it out because I felt like I'd already played the game enough.

Yes as its the pre-purchase, pre-order wouldnt, but that link there is the pre-purchase so that would get you into the beta weekends.

I don't know if play have even received the games to send out yet. I cancelled mine because they were still awaiting stock after 5 days.

Gonna see if laptop can handle it on stress test weekend, then maybe get it after.

If not I'll just wait a few months till it's been patched etc.

If its a new account I think you can get another £2 off via a referral link.

compared to wow/swor for £30 for the game plus a tenner a month to play? yea ok bruv gw2 with a one off fee of £50 is more expensive then playing wow/swor for a year
