Hmm SLI 560ti has a fair bit of grunt. 680/7970 have more but I don't think it's night and day. Especially at the price. If the 560tis are 1GB (most likely) then that's a limitation and of course it will be hotter, louder and use more power than the single card high end products, but it is a fair old chunk of change
Nice sweeping generalisation! Not content with something along the lines "Benchmarks seems to show both have strengths and weaknesses in certain areas but they could be considered on a par in many respects and either woudl represent a good purchase" to "They perform identical", insightful.

680 is better for most games, and at around £430 (for the gigabyte model) its more expensive than a 7970, but then an XFX version of a 7970 is about £395 i think.
