hello guys i got a 560ti gpu and im considering an upgrade. question is which way better to go 7970 or gtx 680? thanks you

Hmm SLI 560ti has a fair bit of grunt. 680/7970 have more but I don't think it's night and day. Especially at the price. If the 560tis are 1GB (most likely) then that's a limitation and of course it will be hotter, louder and use more power than the single card high end products, but it is a fair old chunk of change :)
 
Flip a coin or go for whichever is cheaper. they perform identically.

Nice sweeping generalisation! Not content with something along the lines "Benchmarks seems to show both have strengths and weaknesses in certain areas but they could be considered on a par in many respects and either woudl represent a good purchase" to "They perform identical", insightful.
 
I personally wouldn't spend any money going SLI/crossfire with a 1GB set up nowadays. A chance all the GPU power is wasted (not able to turn settings up) due to VRAM.
 
the only thing that makes me want to go to the green camp is due to the fact of their drivers and physx,,,,
