Hi all,
Just seen the video of this virtual performance via Hologram of Tupac at Cochella festival in America
If you do a search on youtube for Tupac coachella 2012 (I don't want to directly embed as it contains swearing)
What's your thoughts on this? one half of me is thinking yeah it would give everyone a chance to see their favourite artist in a virtual performance on stage at a concert or festival somewhere.
The other bit of me is thinking, little bit creepy, the other bit is thinking just a way to exploit dead artists and make more money.
Whats your thoughts on this?
The video of the hologram stood on stage looks surprisingly real!, if you didn't know about the virtual part, you would think it was real, although I am not sure what it looks like up close. But certainly does look like the real Tupac on stage rapping away as if he was real and there and not a hologram.
Don't really know what to think of this, they are on about doing virtual performance tours of artists and bands that are no longer with us.
