I did make a post in general hardware but I figured the question might be best suited to this sub section.

I have 2 X 4GB DDR2 1066MHz RAM in an 800MHz capacity mobo but apparently this wont give me any issues.

However the RAM is 2.1V and my mobo only supports 1.8V.

Is this likely to cause any issues?

Here are some screenshots from CPU-Z, I'm not sure if they will be much help.

Nope it'll run fine, the 2.1V is only in the spec for when it is running at 1066MHz. The other JEDEC specs say 1.8V is required at lower speeds.

That's great to hear! So even at the lower speeds I won't have a performance hit? It'd just run as well as another stick of RAM that was 800MHz for instance?

Cheers
