Tourette's, serious illness but sorry this is damn funny

Put http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourette_syndrome through http://www.pornolize.com/. Now that is funny.

I didn't find it funny, but I didn't feel the need to come and tell those who did to grow up whilst I sit on my pedestal, all lonely and keyboard ragey.

God some right whoppers on this forum! Sense of humour of a ****ing paint can! Tourettes is funny deal with it or close your ears!

:)

Funny, not at her, with her. I dare say if someone with Tourette's was made uncomfortable by people laughing then I'd put every effort into not laughing.

There has to be a response though. Even if the response is to ignore it, then that is a response. You can't pretend that it didn't happen convincingly, so I think a bit of humour is better than some of the alternatives. With this 'biscuit' tic it quickly fades to the background so ignoring it at that point is natural.

Ive known a few people with ticks and they are very much like these kids in this vid. The vid reminds me of some good times we had laughing. Watch from about 2.20 for a few mins. Five kids all with tourettes sat where everyone can hear them, they all kinda loose it, but manage to have quite a strong bond with each other in that they can all laugh as a group (at the time).

Not all of them have ticks in that vid, i think one has aspergers.

I thought I recognised the voice of the presenter as that of the guy who dropped the C-bomb live on air. :D

I'm glad that she can see the humour in it. It's not funny when it's happening 24 hours a day, or when you're in Tesco. I've worked with a few people with tourettes and it's really tough; the differences between cases is incredible though.

I didn’t find that funny at all. I feel sorry for the people who are like this and never realised it could be as bad as this.

Life is to short, I am glad she gets on with things and realises she may not have been dealt the best hand but she is going to enjoy it and laugh about it.

Fair play to her.

Everyone has faults, I'd rather be able to laugh at mine than get annoyed about it.

This interview seems to have killed her website, must be getting lots of traffic due to it :)
