you won't get a response in here, you are best off going through the main overclockers.co.uk website and sending them a webnote, but even then you'll need to be specific about which cards you are interested in and don't be surprised if they just quote the ETA's from the website at you

At this point I might as well just go with a 2GB 680 and save myself the hassle of waiting.

It is looking very unlikely we will see any 4GB cards before May now, infact production from NVIDIA looks like 680 will remain in massive constraint throughout May, the yields are proving to be very poor and so far are not improving. This could result in prices going even higher if production does not improve, obviously pre-orders as always will be honored.

Thats a bit far off the mark, I've got over 10 post in this thread with over half of them being responses to enquiries. :)

Agreed if you want a quick response, calling or sending a webnote will get a quicker reply, but as I get new information from manufacturers the forums get the information as I get it.

Right now, very unknown, We could potentially get a very small amount of Palit or Gainward end of next week, but it is looking unlikely. Right now partners can't even give any ETA's for any 680's, yields are not getting better, infact worse, which could see May/June in massive constraint unless yields improve. As such I doubt any manufacturer will get any volume production on 4GB for a while and we will just be getting small handfuls every week or so. I'd expect Palit and Gainward within 2 weeks and other brands on 4GB in 2-4 weeks.

So does that mean all the 4GB cards Gibbo or just some of them??

All of them and 2GB may go short as well. I am not seeing any volume in forecast for May, we could end up running out of all stock if yields don't improve. Manufacturers are supplying the lions share to OcUK but when only approx 100 cards per week are now entering the UK and were getting approx half it means demand is still well beyond supply.

We are doing everything we can to grab every piece of stock there is available and constantly pushing manufacturers hard on 4GB models, so they will come to OcUK first, but just going have to be patient.

Proof is the fact that so far only OcUK has had Palit 4GB cards, no one else, this shall be the same on Gainward and KFA2 4GB models as well. :)

Thanks for that Gibbo, will have to keep on waiting than till they are in stock. It might be a good thing in long run as hopefully price will drop a bit. I know its a crazy price they are selling for but really want one as my 580 phantom is superb.
 
Ok thats fine Gibbo I can wait I just a little worried over the fact that I have got the Z77 sabertooth off Ocuk. The point is I have not actually took the motherboard out of the box or packet other than to read the book (I am wanting to go pure Intel and 680 build) so just wondered what will happen if and when the cards do come in and I find a problem with the motherboard?

Im going for same mobo as you with 4 gb 680. I'm gonna get ivy bridge cpu which I will run its onboard gpu so best bet is to do that to make sure mobo is working properly.

Well I do have my cpu and everything else, was just wating on the card, as I could put it all togarther but didnt fancy putting my 4870x2 onto the board
