1992 Lotus Esprit

My old boss had a red one, Lovely car. Not sure how he got into it the fat *******, He used to ride the clutch loads when he pulled off :(

Such a nice car though, Don't see many.
 
I do like the Esprit, but they are quite expensive to run from what i have heard and i don't doubt that info

My Excel has cost me over a £1000 every year on average over the past 6 years on servicing alone, add in insurance/petrol/tax and it's 2k, so i can well see one of these being 3k a year or more
 
Didn't mind the later Esprit's but the earlier ones were just meh. There were much more interesting cars of that early 90's era.

Does look like a good example on the face of it though.
 
Saw one last week, it was an MY87-88, looked immaculate

I was told that oe or over close to oe suspension was hard to come by. Should be ohlins of all brands! The rears were available but came out way too high. He bought protech in the end. And I thought I was hard done by having to fork out for bilstein b12
