Daft question re Audi A6

I have a 2007 (57) A6 2.0tdi (140), as you know, daft question, is it chain or belt driven? Google is conflicting lol.

I'm reading the only diesel engine is possibly the 2.7tdi and all other C6's are chain.

All the 1.9 and 2.0L TDi VAG engines are belt driven AFAIK.

The source is that ALL 2.0Tdi VAG engines are belt....proven by the fact I have 2 different versions, both belt driven.

This attitude does my head in. The guy was asking again as he already said that he has conflicting answers. What makes you think that your answer should be taken as gospel. He is researching his query. Very obvious and wise thing to do

I lol at the butthurt in here sometimes, I really do.

He is correct however, all the 2.0 TDI R4 engines are belt-driven, Wikipedia has a very good detailing on all the VW TDI engines here (should auto jump to the 2.0 TDI PD in question, although the 140PS version is underneath).
