** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

My account ran dry today and I won't be resubbing as I'm done with the game. Saw what I wanted to in cataclysm thanks to the new scroll system + looking for raid which is a fantastic addition to the game for someone like me. Shame my priest with all its LFR gear now gets to rot on my account lol.

Sold my PC so its not like I can resub anyway :D

Yeah I think Tummy tricked me onto that server! theres absoultely never anyone online, I had to pay to transfer AGAIN to play with old friends I found with battlenet. It's a good server, nice and busy but without a guild with some sort of personal connection it's so lonely. Joining one of those mass inviting guilds sucks.

If you join a crappy guild, at least the guild perks make up for it. Level 25 is great!
 
What are the best professions for a Dwarf Paladin?, i haven't played for 2 years or so, so ive forgot a lot of things.

Would Engineering and Mining be a good choice?

Ive also started from scratch with the Paladin (Level 5), i have around 80G which i transferred from an old character that i no longer want to use.

Looks like ill be quitting SWTOR as ive just signed up to the 12 month annual pass :)

Also what basic add ons are recommended, dont need any thing too fancy?

I would like the arrow add on that i use to have, think it was called quest finder, cant remember now.

Id probably recommend going Mining/JC as Jewels seem to cost a small fortune at present.

As for mods I use standard Bars and Party/Raid frames, Reccount, Omen, Atlas loot (not really required anymore) Not sure if DBM is still going or if it has been replaced by something better... not had any need to reinstall it myself yet.

8.99 still, you get Diablo III for nothing as well and a free mount.

The 12 month pass is just an agreement to keep subscribing for 12 months. You can't cancel your subscription within that time frame.

You can continue to pay via the same method and billing cycles, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month or timecards. All count to the 12 month agreement.

Did you not ask anyone for the scroll of resurrection?

I'm quitting swtor when my subs run out in Jul. I'll be staying with WoW and GW2. Got the annual pass in Oct last year.

Ive just finished a SOR hence why ive took out the annual pass today.

I havent quit SWTOR just yet, im just a bit fed up with performance issues, ive forgot how good Wow is regarding performance and there game engine compared to SWTOR.

Im actually looking fwd to levelling.

Cant imagine they would let you use Timecards as a way of doing it without having a Debit card on backup...how would they enforce it otherwise?

I don't think you can sign up to the annual pass without a registered debit/credit card. I was just saying you can still continue paying your normal way, including timecards.

Haha, yeah well think he pulled a fast one!

Most of my mates who I played with on Aerie Peak have given up on WoW, so I have my main (Hunter) just sitting there at 81. As you said with no guild or real connection within the server its pretty pointless.

Managed to get a friend back into WoW and scroll'd him to Frostmane, so gunna set up a casual/PvP orientated guild ourselves once we hit 85.
 
I've not been on this week due to it being my birthday and I've been busy with work and family.

I've tried with the Guild, it was fairly social but I always seemed to be the only person online.
 
hi i have been out the game of wow for a bit now and i was wonding how does the scroll of res work :) i am wanting to come back in casually untill mists comes out. any help wud be great :D
