hey, first ill tell ya about my pc's spec so ya know what im dealing with..

Corei5 quad core 1155
Gigabyte z77x-d3h board
16gb hyper x ram
gtx 560ti graphics
60gb ocz ssd
650w psu
corsair h80 cpu cooler

Now ... i noticed this before i installed the watercooler the pch temps were hitting between 50-60 degrees... is this normal ?

Its still hitting these temps when all fans are on 100% i dont get it ??

Help me lol

Also what do you think of my build.. its my first decent build ive built one or two before but only core2duo builds with 2 or 4gb ram n a old graphics card etc lol

Hi :)

It looks a great build. Only thing I'd check, what's the make of the PSU?

What program are you using to see the PCH temps? I'll check mine. Different board, but should be similar I'd guess!

Well, with such a nice PC I wouldn't trust a cheap PSU! Something quality doesn't have to be expensive. XFX/OCZ/Antec/Corsair make good PSUs.

I'd suggest this OCZ ZS 550W for your PC, only £46.98. There's a review of it here.

You only need ~500W for that system:
GeForce GTX 560 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit.
from here.

Well i plan to upgrade as im buying the new i7 ib when its released and at the same time im going to buy either 2 newer gfx cards or ill buy another 560ti to go sli so have you got any ideas that will be ok with all that or will the 550w be ok running two 560ti's ?

Firstly, an i7 isn't really better than an i5 for gaming because most games can't use the extra threads. Of course if you'll use the extra threads for something else you do, then I'm sure it'll be a great CPU :)

What resolution is your monitor? you might find a different GPU is better to SLI as the 560Ti's 1GB of VRAM could be limiting - unless you have a 2GB version.

The 550W is plenty for a single, but for two you'd want a good 700W+ according to Guru3D. So for that I'd get one of these:

850W is overkill, but will give you plenty of headroom for the future!

As for the cpu chap, i use the pc for a lot of video editing etc and bluray files etc etc so will prob make use of it, uhh no idea on the monitor chap, its a hp 2211x ...

Na i have the 1gig gainward version, it was just one i had lying around, im thinking of 2 6 series cards :-)

Fair enough, i7 sounds a good choice then ;)

That's 1080p, which for some games and high settings 1GB of VRAM could limit you [if in SLI].

Two 6xx series cards would be very nice! Considering two 680s can be run off a 750W [a decent one] any two of the 6xx series cards should work with the PSUs I specced :)

Wicked cheers for your help, trouble is im a bugger when it comes to vcards as i want nice looking ones and im picky lol... makes life so difficult at times ha
