Hi,

I have just got a Corsair Obsidian 550D. and just fitted a Gigabyte X58 G1 sniper board. but relised i can only fit the sata cables a lot the top
(what a **** I am):D is there anyway round this, as i really need to use the sata3 cable at the bottom?

Not sure what to do.. so i take it this case dont work with ATX boards :(

Dam, i really like this case. not a lot of room round the back thro..
Think maybe i have to send it back if there's no other way. bugger!!

Cheers.

The motherboard is E-ATX Form Factor???? That's what it says on the Gigabyte website? Just only by 2cm more? 30.5cm x 26.4cm.

What do you mean? Is the SATA cables 90 degree ones? You can get the straight SATA cables.

Hi,

90 won't work. as there's no hole at the bottom to fit it..
So this mean i need a E-ATX case only? what a pain in the but lol

Cheers.

Where the board sits, it sits in a kind of recess, and is right on the edge. so the other part of the case is to high to install the sata cables at the bottom.. what a pain. wished i knew this.
I thought it was just a ATX Board.. whats a E-ATX?
dont even say what board it supports!! on this site...
Just found out it only supports Factor, ATX, Micro ATX grrr wished i knew this..
Oh well..

Cheers.

Just goes to show you should do some research before buying computer components. I don't see how you could even manage to buy a motherboard without even knowing its size factor .
