Hi all

Im really cant deecide between the two boards below....I dont really need much just wanted cheapest board to support SLI/Crossfire and be ok for overclocking...

Gigabyte Z77X-D3H - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-390-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

MSI Z77A-G45 - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-201-MS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

Both seem good...the Gigabyte has more SATA 6Gbs ports and more USB 3 ports but the MIS has an 8 pin 12v CPU connector rather then the Gigabytes 4pin....I hear the 8pin may be better for overclocking....

What do you think? I will putting this with Samsung Green 16GB and a Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler....then a Ivy bridge I5 3570K when it hits....

In my experience, MSI is superior than GB for overclocking. Opinions will differ, though.

Seems that the MSI is better for multiple PCIe 3 slots but the GB is better for multiple SATA 6Gb/S ports. Otherwise I perceive them as inseparable barring OC features.

I'd say get the GB one because you can have more SATA 3 hard drives connected.
