Fuel Cost Calculator

Thanks! This is something I consider (every time my Octavia throws a bill!) and it is much neater to whack some numbers in there than the scraps of paper I normally end up with.
 
If i'd had bought the 1.9 Diesel of my car instead of the 1.4 turbo petrol I could be saving £450 a year on fuel :(

You'll end up having to pay more anyway because your part ex value will be thousands less than your cars retail value. How many miles do you do?
 
Yeah pretty much what I thought, thanks Fox.

I do about 20K a year, will probably hang on to the A3 until the warranty runs out (has about a year left) and think about changing it then.

Should have been a bit more sensible when I bought it but can't help wanting something fun :D No point spending more money now to save a few hundred a year on fuel.
