Tho with this new guild system you dont need a big guild anymore as there is no end game raiding! There will be however guild influence points which each member builds up for their guild which will allow them to buy stats boosts etc!

There was talk about it. I made one for the last beta however I would imagine its all been reset. I only did it though to try and prove my non-beta account was working in the beta.
 
Knew I forgot to ask something here, now there is no traditional race vs race in this game, so is there only PVE servers? and obviously the wvwvw zones
 
Well something has to be a wow beater, that thing can't live on forever. Although what exactly would make it a wow beater, because im sure there are already better games out there. Active players maybe.

WoW is currently too big for something to 'beat' it.

I don't think people should be worried about that, as long as the game is good and you enjoy it, it doesn't matter.
 
The one thing WoW is good for is content. There's so much of it. Just when you get near the end they update and add more. This kept me busy for my life in WoW. RL though meant I don't have the time to keep playing WoW anymore. Paying a fee for something I don't get to play was annoying so I stopped.

GuildWars 2 has lots of potential. I read a post (maybe in this thread) from one of the devs who said point blank a MMO has to be right from the start as thats the time when it has most attention from users. They said they learnt from mistakes in GW1 and are resolving them in GW2. I really hope it does go on to be the next big MMO. I love the idea they are trying to do it all without a monthly fee again.
