Guild Wars 2

Yup I'm choosing fissure of woe, its leet and sounds better than Underworld, and they are going to be servers of choice for GW1 vets.

Plus all the annoying speed clearing assasin players from the first game will choose underworld, and I don't like those :p
 
The only problem I can see happening with this WvWvW is server imbalances, I know it matches you against even servers, but are alliances and guilds going to group up on diff servers or we have 1-2 massive servers and the rest tiny?

For the post above, its pretty much guaranteed that FoW and UW will be the most populated, especially with veterans from the first game as those were the most played / farmed elite areas of GW1.

I don't think it will be a problem, well not for the first month anyway, it depends as always as to how many stay with the game, and I think this game unlike most if not every other mmo out there, will retain a huge amount of players as its free to play once bought, that will make players a lot more forgiving if there are are major issues.

I'd rather not roll on the most popular server even if it does have GW1 vets, maybe have a thread with a vote for the OcUK main server ?

Am I missing something but when I click on that link it says the guild name is The Immortals.

I am currently downloading the GW2 beta client and was hoping I could hook up with the guild :D

Itas gonna be FoW no contest :D

You can play with your friends on any server, but you can only do WvWvW on your home server and you dont want an empty one for that.

Theres one with a fiery aura, and one without, you just speak to ceira on the boat in Embark Beach to get them.
 
Use to play Gw1 lot for 3 years then gradually lost interest,have tried to get back into it but not sure just don't seem to be able to,lol use to spend most of time trying new pvx builds for farming ecto or green.even managed to get 46 HOM points.
