Can't link it 'cos I'm at work, but they've said there's no installer for the beta, hence why they stress placing the GW2.EXE in a separate folder (since it just places all the files in whatever folder you launched it from).
 
Bloody hell i stopped the installer at 57% and restarted it and now its doing it all over again:mad:
Why would it do this, no other MMo client would ever do this??

People are being confused because it will restart the % timer of what it currently has left to download. So if it's 10GB total and you're 50% in and restart it, it will count 0-100% for the last 5GB.
Edit, people, not many people, I can't possibly know that. :D

Don't look @ the progress %age, but look @ the number of files to go.. it never goes up if you cancel the download and restart. But the progress bar just indicates how many of the remaining files you've grabbed so far.

erm i never got kicked from the guild while i was active in the game as i was still a member when i quit playing swtor.....
 
Unlike in swtor I haves spoken to a few other guild leaders I know and trying to set it up so we all get on FoW.. If they all do and can't see why they won't FoW will be heavly english.

If what ever other guilds on here do the same we should be golden on that server, would be great if we can also sort a few decent aliances out, unlike in swtor where we were the only guild on our server who could actually put out a force with some kind of tactic that worked and beat the sith.

All this talk made me go look back in the forums as to exactly what happened, and although we were about to kick you for your constant whinnying, that in fact was not the reason, you were actually kicked for being racist!, hey way to I'm sure u really proud of yourself.

Here's a topic you guys will want to be keeping a look out on, it'll be all of the clans joining which particular servers. I'm part of Apex and we're currently deciding on which server to go on - initially we were thinking Blacktide but after seeing Russian and Polish clans we might decide against it. English speaking server me thinks!
 
Anyone know anything about the guild Futilez , the server they appear to be going for (Gandara) looks to be free of elitists and non english speaking players so far. Their main page looks good to me, friendly mature community guild. Anyone know anything different to what they're saying ?
