Hi guys,

Currently in the process of migrating an xp machine over to windows 7, and my main stumbling block is email... is it possible to export everything from outlook express seamlessly into thunderbird or is there a certain procedure I need to follow :)

Thanks.

Just had a thought, would the easiest way of doing things be to install thunderbird on the xp machine, import mail, address book and settings from outlook and then export a 'backup' file that I could then use on the windows 7 machine?

That's the way I've done it in the past. I understand that Thunder Bird's import from Outlook Express feature is dependent on Outlook Express, so you're probably best of doing the conversion from OE to TB on the PC you've been using it on.
