I'm in the market for some new speakers for my PC. I don't need any top of the range ones, but I can't stand most cheap PC speakers.

I had some Creative T20s a while ago and they were excellent, but they broke quickly so I had to send them back and that kind of put me off them. Is there anything else out there as good as the T20s for similar money, or are the T20s still my best bet?

Thanks.

They are probably the best really for around the £50 mark. There isn't really a great deal of choice for around that price point. There are 2.1 speakers of course. More bass, but overall sound quality won't be as good.

There are some Microlab Solo 1C speakers, for £65. The 6C's are well liked by those that have bought them, but there are no reviews for the 1C's. They are also quite a bit bigger than the T20's

Microlab M700s are pretty immense for the price :)

Just used them for a set at an afterparty, pretty damn loud :D

Why don't you just try another set of T20's? Any component can break. After all, you even said they were excellent.

A £50 set of 2.0s will almost definitely be better than any £50 2.1, especially 5.1.

Save another 50 and get the Aegos! They're so good. If you're patient they're definitely worth the extra money if you can potentially get it, just look at the reviews! Love them to bits.

I used to own the T20s and they were good as well for the price so I'd stick for them if you can't afford the Aego Ms anytime soon :)
