130K and Failed its MOT

My BMW just failed its MOT

Needs a new Rear Brake Pipe...Because they have to removed the Fual Tank to fit another the cost is 288 inc of MOT test.

Other than that the BMW indy tech guys said she was Top Top

When you get the work done, fit braided hoses.

I found them awesome on my 330d.

130 is nothing

my 2000 golf passed its MOT (at VW) on 180k, no issues

It's not a flexible hose he's replacing. It's just a cheap bit of copper brake pipe that needs putting in that will now last the lifetime of the car. Unfortunately though as he says the tank needs to be removed.

Brake pipes are the things that connect up to your lines/hoses

I don't think that's what he was saying, he was adding that you should get the braided lines all round at the same time as the brake fluid will be drained anyway.

This job had already been done on my 318is thank ****

It's worth doing, you know it's not going to pop up again any time soon and as above 130k is nothing really

Pfft. My 1972 Rover passed its MOT at 180k+ (no real record of its mileage), no advisories

my other golf got an mot last year at 228k

rear wheel bearing play was one advisory

I was like oooohhh yeah I am taking this baby to 250k, had it from 90k to 165k.

Gave up, pressure converters, transmission rebuild, egr issues, wheel wobbles, suspension, pusher fan....
