UEFA Champions League/Europa League 24/25/26 April *** Spoilers ***

lol what the?! united are (somehow top of the league) have played some utterly dire stuff and scraped victories.

i seem to remember they were in last years final and got completely and utterly outdone. i also remember you got dumped out of this years comp early so i can only imagine your agenda is pure bitterness?

quality of player? mata and drogba or rooney and welbeck?

I fail to see what this has to do with Man Utd? You're bloody obsessed with them you really are in fact if theres any bitterness it's from you :o

Regardless of how badly Man Utd were beaten last season (and in 2009 for that matter) the quality of football from the winner Barcelona was much higher than what you'll see from Bayern or Chelsea this year

well, when you said pinnacle of domestic league, i assumed you were referring to man utd because they're top?

if you weren't referring to united, who were you referring to?

Erm the two finalist's (did you even read the conversation or just see one post and get all excited?)

i read the convo, please then, explain what you are saying, if i have misunderstood....

Okay...

Last season you had the best team in Europe contest the final correct? This season you've got one team who's 25 points off their league leaders and another who's 8 points of theirs, again this isn't to say that neither Bayern or Chelsea deserve to be in the final because they do but anyone expecting the actual quality of football from either team to be as high as it was from Barca last year I think are mistaken.

At the risk of repeating myself neither semi finals were bad games persay, both were very entertaining but there was still a lack of quality in both. I might be wrong Chelsea v Bayern may end up 4-3 with every goal a wonder strike but personally I can't see it, I can see it being more reminiscent of the Porto/Monaco or Inter/Bayern finals

so you're saying it wont be as good a final because barca aren't in it? that's the same barca that chelsea knocked out the other day who didn't deserve to be in it more than chelsea did? is it chelsea's fault barca don't like it up 'em and don't have a great deal else in their locker if plan A fails or isn't an option? i agree, it was a little tedious at times but we're talking probably the best team in the world here, open up or get your game plan wrong against them and it's curtains (as you know from last year)

if there was a lack of quality in both, who would've made it better? are real not actually the pinnacle of the spanish league atm? are man utd not the pinnacle of the prem not chelsea? would uniteds performance in europe compared to chelseas (and arsenals) not show that perhaps united came up a little short in their game plan in europe or did chelsea just get an easier run in?

atleast the final wont be as one sided as last year and it's nonsense to say that the quality wont be as good because of the finalists. have united played enough quality football this season to deserve a 25 point lead over chelsea?

No what I'm saying is it won't have the quality of other finals because neither of the finalists are the best team in Europe.

even though both finalists beat the best in europe in the semi's to make the final? as i said, chelsea were on the ropes, both legs were tedious but they did what they had to do. that was in the semi against (probably) the best team in the world, they did what they had to do. they can play a different game in the final due to the opposition. both teams have quality and it should be free flowing.

you're a united fan, surely you more than anyone knows that it's ''all about the winning'' or is that attitude not applicable to other teams?

even though both finalists beat the best in europe in the semi's to make the final?

Are Chelsea better than Barcelona because they beat them then? Are Norwich better than Spurs? (seeing as you're insistent on bringing other teams into this)

oh .... so you are bitter. thought so.

Bitter about what? This has nothing to do with my team, after going out at the group stage I hardly think Man Utd have anything to do with any conversation about the Champions League final.
