CQ will be mental enough with shotguns as it is, though even with the dart as it is the DAO will rule (from current weapon list) like it does on most TDM maps already.
 
Shotguns aren't any use at the end of a corridor when the enemy is at the other end however, so I would doubt that shotguns will dominate, though of course they have the potential to unless you have a lightning headshot. M1014 is a personal favourite.
 
They sure are with the right ammo.
Auto shotties should be removed from the game though imo :p
870 or nothing or at least have some draw back to using the noob versions
 
Set up my own server for 7 days so i and a few mates can play, nothing too serious :)

Got the map set to Golf of Oman, Set name and rules to "Capture Flag Only >> No Killing"
Yes technically its boosting but ha just a bit of fun
A few kills here and there that's fine ;)

Had a few people join who clearly wanted to kill, no probs just ban em
Get some idiot, killed 10 people so i ban him

Oh god this guy sends me like 5 messages, about how I am a cheat and boosting and now he's reporting me lol :rolleyes:

I paid for the server so my rules :D

People have lost their servers by doing this. I'd set it to unranked then you will be fine.
 
What a dumb server, you can ask people to stop using things like the dart, and to not spawn trap, but blatently stopping people from killing and only capping flags is dumb, must be the most boring server out there.

I along with all my clan mates got banned from a server last night, even tho half of us were on the opposite team lol, no idea why, we were winning, and playing by the rules, nothing going on that shouldnt, then BAM, you have been banned, i have tried to find out what server it was, so i can message the Admin, and find out why, i know it wasnt because of room as at the time there were spaces.
 
I don't really see how i could be banned from doing this but its probably best i change it :cool:
Using the server with friends, just messing about, flying jets and stuff like that but its hardly worth people getting wound about like that guy last night. Its not like I've hacked the game!
There's tons of servers out there, with different rules e.g "No Guns Knives Only"

The point I'm making here is its "only a game" at the end of day :)

Yeah it gets a bit boring after a bit :p
 
Just to bump this info, uk ps3 servers type 'prgm' into search, it will bring up 100's of uk servers of all game modes, these servers run the standard map rotation and one game type, i.e. no switching from say rush to conquest unlike the dice servers.

Yeah there was before the update... There are dice b2k servers that alternate rush and cq modes and tdm uk servers that have the standard and b2k maps.

Yep have saw those but the first couple I tried, the server lost a lot of players when we moved from one game type to another. I only play rush as playing conquest withou friends seems very barren, and then add in the fact you lose a third of the players it seems pretty dull defending one of the cap points on your own. :(

Started a Server tonite for a week to see how it goes, PS3 of course, calles PSNB server, 200% tickets, most popular maps, on CQ, the only rules are NO m26dart glitch or Spawn trapping.

I've read this so many times it's ridiculous. How do you prevent it ? It's a consequence of one team being better than the other, is that not the whole point of the game, to dominate the other ?
I've had it happen to me and I've also done it, some you win, some you lose ;)

And what is the winning team supposed to do, just stop playing ?
