Well the signs from David Vonderhaar have been mainly positive. He's been talking about being more innovative, and trying to tweak things to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. For example, making ghost only protect you against 2/3 of UAV sweeps, so it's good when you're moving but won't help you if you're camping.

He was also saying that perks which affect weapon attributes (ADS time, reticule size, reload time etc) are limiting, in that they force all the weapons to be broadly similar, otherwise some would be OP when combined with certain perks. He said it'd be cool if they removed these perks from the game and instead built them in to certain weapons, to give greater variety across the board.

If they take these kind of ideas and apply them across the board then I can see this game being potentially worth buying. They won't have a new engine until the next consoles come out though which is annoying, but meh graphics aren't everything. I'm on the fence until I see how many of the good ideas and changes are actually being applied.

I too have hopes for this based on the tweets from Vonderhaar about creating innovative tweaks and considering perks etc.

Could be very good.

The graphics are not inherently ugly though.

i thought this black ops they would just be sort of black ops modern warfare,just black ops set now,but obviously they wont use the modern warfare name,but blah i will buy it and play it either way good or bad

I wish they'd get rid of the UAV altogether :mad:

Or at least make it a 7-8 killstreak.

Whoa a lot of hating and arguing goin on in here!!

I for one buy every COD that comes out... I find the SP is very immersive and kinda have this thing about completing it on Vet to get the most out of it.

MP is tough.. but I don't take it seriously enough to moan about all aspects of it.. I just go on for a few games and enjoy myself.

Tbh.. I would like to see something different.. the image above kinda hints at something different..

I don't mind if they use the same engine.. looked perfectly fine to me last time round.

I bought every COD till Black Ops. I wasn't actually going to buy black ops till I went into a tesco and saw a great deal. Never bothered with MW3 because it looked more of the same. More important for me though is the fact BF3 has dedicated servers and tbh I prefer the team based game play a lot more. The main reasoning for me not buying MW3 was when I saw videos I thought it was MW2.

If they do a massive overhaul of the multiplayer and have dedicated servers then I will buy it.

I cant believe they can keep bring out the same game over and over again and people keep buying it. I really do hope the series just ends and they try to do something different for a change.

Yeah they do, no other series I know of keeps as much the same between iterations as CoD does, except Fifa.

What has changed between MW2 and MW3 (That is huge). Look at BC2 and BF3 and there is a huge progression.

I do love that one.

Remove MW3 from the equation as that is a cluster **** due to all sorts of things (IW split, Sledgehammer, Respawn etc) I don't think MW2 - Black Ops could be classed as being the same game, yes the principal of having a gun, and killstreaks/perks is the same, but Black Ops did a lot of things right and changed a lot/introduced new game modes.

I think it unfair a little to claim a Treyarch game as the same as a IW game if I am honest.

The mp is exactly the same. Same perks, same gameplay its all just the same. They are using the same engine that they used in cod2 its just ridiculous. I really cant understand how they have got away with it for so long.
