Join a church then, go to a few and see which one fits you.

I am not religious, but I attend Church on occasion and my Job means that I have a lot of contact with religion in general, especially the Vatican recently.

I've never gone, and never will. Religion in general annoys me :( But if you want to get back into it, I'm sure if you just go they won't turn you away :p

I could probably count the number of times i've been in a church on one hand. And most of those weren't for a ceremony, just because it was 'a venue'.

You may not be "religious" as you put it but you are still a creation. I never met any church member that would claim to being religious.

I only go to the odd church funeral. But as is said above, find a church that suits your beliefs and interpretation of the bible and go, I’m sure they won't turn you away.

My friend is getting married in the summer in a church. Neither he nor his fiancée are religious and I just don't get why they'd want a church wedding. They have to attend church in the weeks leading up to their wedding. My friend says it's incredibly dull and probably won't go once they are married.

It's caused quite a few debates in our social group about getting married in a church or not. My argument is I wouldn't get married in a mosque or a synagogue so why would I want to marry in a church?

Seen as romantic
Tradition
Ideological
Fairytail

You can partly blame Hollywood if you like.

Only if I have to, and certainly not for religious reasons. I love the architecture of a lot of churches and that attracts me to them, but I actively avoid interactions with religious people.

Used to go two or three times every sunday when I was growing up (Dad is a Vicar in CoE). When I turned 13 my folks sat me down and said I was old enough to decide for myself whether I wanted to continue going or not. I decided not and they respected my decision.

I will go with my mum every so often as she likes the company and its nice to spend some quality time with her doing something which she enjoys. Mum also likes us to go as a family at Christmas and Easter and me and my siblings will oblige.

Doesnt bother me in the slightest and I can appreciate the history and ceremony of a church and church service whilst remaining pragmatically agnostic about it all.

Not really.

My gf takes me to hers for the Easter/Xmas/compulsory ones.. but frankly I don't like it.

I was about to say it seems to pushy and all joyous about God, whilst I'm sitting there thinking 'But I don't believe this'... But that's what happens when you go to a church so meh xD
