anyone shed any light on this at all please as i dunno whats the problem! :(

running 12.4 drivers

PC spec

i5 2500k @ 4.8
Arock Extreme4 Gen3
8GB Corsair XMS3
AMD Radeon 7970 @ 1125 Core : 1575 Memory
XFX Pro 650W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Looks about right to me. I have only 2 or 300 more with my i7 990x and 7970 combo. That is with a slightly higher physics score too.

I wouldn't worry about it personally.

First some people cheating ;)
Second your RAM is clocked to low
Third - switch off all programs running at the background
And your CPU has no HT and this help a bit ;)

haha that makes me feel better!

just ran heaven at the settings in the heaven benchmark thread and its come out fine.

FPS:
81.3
Scores:
2048
Min FPS:
9.0
Max FPS:
175.0

gonna stop worrying and play some games lol :D just had it when things dont turn out like they should and when i saw people with a lot higher scores it starts to do ya head in!

My Heaven scores with that G620 for comparison sake are

1920x1080 = 1959
1680x1050 = 2080

You can see my old scores with my 1100t in the Heaven thread, no idea what they were though.

Is your ram showing as 667 in cpu-z?

This maybe faulty reporting.

He may only have 1333mhz ram. DDR = double data rate, so doubles the 667 to make 1333.

I'm only running 1333mhz ram myself, hence why your 3dm11 comparison was way off the mark :)

It is not unknown for ram to be reported low but actually is running correctly. XMP in Asrock boards can also get it wrong yet Cpu-z reports it correct.

It could also be 1333 ram though :)

As for the 3Dmark11 score, I couldn't give two hoots. I was just showing a comparison. Locky beat my score and I would expect him to use my chart as a comparison if ever needed :)
