Haswell and Z77

Nope, I believe it's expected to be 1150, IB & Z77 seems to be the end of the line for this generation of CPUs.

You never know though :) there might be changes.

Afaik, IB-E will be on the current 2011 socket, I imagine if Intel release another xx-E maybe based on Haswell they'll have to change the socket as well. Don't think there'e much info about Haswell and beyond out there at the moment.

You could say that if you went Z77 and Ivy Bridge now, it'll certainly be more than powerful enough for at least 3 years I'd say. When it comes to upgrade you'll probably have skipped an entire socket anyway.
