Upgrade from mx518

Is there any mouse for a MAX of £45 that is worth upgrading from a mx518 ? My mouse at work sucks serious balls so i want to take my mx518 to work and get a new gaming mouse

I'm looking for an upgrade from the same mouse. Mine is being a bit temperamental...

G500 seems a popular choice in that price range.

g400 is the successor. I liked the G500 well enough, but too gimmicky imo (weights, flywheel), and one of the button developed a squeak. The thumb texture is a bit rough at first. Performance is good though.

I've also wondered what Random Guy Does. MX518 is a fantastic mouse, and its served me well even though it is now playing up a little...
