Yeah I can't log in either. The game just randomly went to the log in screen with no error or anything while playing. Oh well.

I love the Necro so far, mainly use axe/horn and staff. I have insanely high lastabiity in both PvP and PvE. Takes a while to get the hang of it though, since it's not really a high DPS class.

2) Death to gold seller bots / websites. Want to make some in game currency fast? Buy gems and sell them. The money paid goes back into the game rather than to supporting hackers and bots.

This is a nice idea but unfortunately in practise doesn't work, gold sellers will still exist, they will just have to sell slightly below the current in game price.

The Log in servers are probably being hammered seeing as most of the USA will probably have started to log in & I suspect they use the same log in servers as the EU.

The combat needs to be refined imo, its all over the place.

It isn't a close range class, IT IS WEAPON DEPENDANT.

Dagger = Melee
Axe = Mid Range
Scepter = Mid/Long Range
Staff = Long Range

No need to shout mate lol

I see, will have a little farm around and see if I can find some ranged weps to see how the class plays then.

I've had quite a few during my slog, level 18 when i dc'd. Took a while to find one and just got lucky from a quest or drop, i forget which.
But Axe / Horn is the best combo imo, quickly raise your Dark Shroud bar.

My main problem with nercros are the pets, you cannot control them and they die stupidly fast.

More impressions whilst the servers are down:

Ele is in the teens now, just had a green staff dropped so waiting to use that. Destroying stuff now, using the two arcane passives as combo moves for the fire / water / ice / lightning combo fields I create.

The arcane utility skills always crit, so bringing them can add quite a lot of damage. The glyph of fire added 5% crit but this has dropped to 4% over the space of a few levels -- concerning really, if this continues it will be worthless later in the game.

Staff is pretty nuts for aoe damage, water and earth both have aoe snares, lightning has an aoe stun field and both lightning and earth have knockbacks. Single target damage isnt amazing, arcane blast and a combo field can be bursty though.

Will try my thief with guns when I can get back on.

Really love that the ele can get stuck into close'ish combat with just a weapon change.

a lot of Necro abilities that you can unlock later add conditions to enemies from being close to them. Plus the best / most powerful Dark Shroud Ability requires you to be in the middle of enemies, the more your close too the more health you drain back into your Dark Shroud.

It will, most big game servers go down on release day from my experience if the hypes there they never seem to realise and the servers crash!

how does the dark shroud work exactly? When it fills up do I just press 6 once or do i press 6 twice for a heal? Ive not sussed it out yet.

Ive found that there isnt much in gear change in pve doing quests, i like abit more on that like.
