Official Avengers Tread ere

Just back from seeing it.

Only two gripes.

1. To many extreme close ups during the action.

2. They spent a lot of the first half of the film introducing the heroes but Thor just seem to show up out of nowhere, and then they right that off with one line from Loki.

Still a great film though, 8.5/10

Yeah that was a bit of a problem, but then the target audience for this film expects you to have seen last years Thor, and even Captain America to an extend, which would've help shed some backstory behind it all.

Saw it last night at Showcase De Lux Leicester. Loved it! Just one thing I'd like to know, why was it only 16:9 when all the previous films were 2.35:1?

(apart from not obeying many of the laws of physics)

You watched a film which includes superheros who have gained powers through being exposed to radiation, immortals, aliens, self sustaining energy...... and you're worried about the laws of physics?!?! :D:p

I just did a quick drawing of it for you.

How does it stand up to a repeat viewing Mr Tummy? i can see me and the wife going back again as we enjoyed it so much :D

As he is now referring to himself in the third person one can surmise that repeated viewing mushes the brain.

Ummmmm.....except that's Red Hulk. :D

Indeed. Superheroes in a superpower world, and not to mention the larger than life intergalactic cosmic entities in the Universe! :p

Just come back from seeing this, sadly 3D was the only option but I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure many people could have got that film right but all credit to Joss. Used all the characters well and got a lot of his trademark humour in as well :)
