Slightly in advance of actual polling day but I thought it might be interesting to see how people would choose to vote in the London Mayoral Elections - for the purposes of this it doesn't matter whether you actually live in London and have got a vote to use or not.

For anyone who wants to inform themselves of the candidates first there's a booklet available from London Elects here (3mb PDF) which gives a very brief outline. There's obviously no obligation to check it out first, there'll be lots voting in the real thing who won't either.

If you'd like to give your choice and reasons then please do but regardless of who people say they'd choose to vote for let's try and keep it civil.

Boris, out of 108 pledges as Mayor he has fulfilled 103! I think he is a great ambassador for London, a likeable, intelligent bloke with a personality to boot! He's been great for London so far IMO.

Boris. He's not as stupid as a lot of people think, has done some good things over the last term and is an absolute legend.

Not to mention on the whole he's done what he said he would.

Hell I'd vote for him as PM.

Not a London resident so can't vote however.

If I lived in London I'd vote for Ken Livingstone, and absolutely 100% honest down to the core person. A more honest person you would never ever meet.
