Hollister what the..?

LOL

I've never bothered going into any of their stores, but it's almost tempting to crack out the head torches and go for a visit, haha.

"Is that red?"
"No it's pink, I'm sure."
"No no it's red"
*turns on phone torch and gets weird looks from hip kids*
"OK it *is* red... get that one then."

Head torches would be awesome - need a crowd of you. :)

I don't understand that shop.

There's a facebook group called "Hi, welcome to Hollister. Can I get you a flashlight?" so it's not just us that think it.

When they ask if you found everything you were looking for today, say no. It was too bloody dark, and cramped. And it might look nice, but can't you arrange things with some kind of logic please..

So we have a shop with low mood lighting, smells nice, has beautiful women with very little clothing....... and the problem with that is???????????????????

you dont get it because you are not the target market

its aimed at teenagers, and seems to be doing quite well with that

its all centered around "looking cool" rather than being able to see and or breathe

This

I quite like the shirts but the brand is now too young for me. Finding the changing rooms is a laugh, like a maze in the dark.

I've been into Hollister shops at the age of 18-20. I don't care about the actual clothes, its fine for its target market, i have never understood the stupid dark shops though

Is there one in Lakeside?

Im curious now... If its aimed at teenagers surely they should accept having parents with VISA cards dragged in their too?

Im gonna borrow one of my younger nieces and check it out.

edit: Woot, one in Stratford even better

I've got a couple of hoodies and a T-shirt from there. They aren't bad quality, not great either though. The shop is horrible though, I tend to find what I want online, and then go and find that particular item. Wouldn't go in there not knowing what I'm after.

It's a pretentious load of rubbish but I have been asked if I wanted a part-time job twice, which made my head grow a little!

Apparently they have an abundance of staff and give each individual member 4 hour shifts per week to keep the place varied with faces. Who knows.

Some of their checked shirts are quire nice though, if a tad expensive! It's a lot cheaper in the US which is why I buy my stuff off ebay!

I bought a couple of things when it first opened due to my brother bringing a few bits over from america for me, I dont go in there now, I tend to avoid anything that people go overly mental for as I find it a bit pathetic. Much prefer Jack n Jones, less of a chance of looking like a clone
