Nolan officially announces Batman 3!

Im still a little concerned about understanding what on earth Bane is saying.

Really?!?

One of the first things that came through to me on that trailer was how much clearer his dialogue has become from the earlier trailers.

I'm still standing by my prediction from last year that JGL at some point will don the batsuit and masquerade as, if not take over as Batman.

It's better (as in the first trailer I couldn't understand a single word he said) but I still had to rewind it to catch the last word he said in the first clip. The problem is when you can't see a character's mouth they need really clear enounciation and Bane just isn't as clear as say Darth Vader.

You're right, it never actually occurred to me the importance of seeing the mouth/lip movement to understanding dialogue, now you've pointed it out, it seems blatantly obvious, lol!

I'm still reserving judgement on Banes voice until I see the feature length, but from this trailer it certainly is an improvement.
Trailer looks awesome btw :D

I preferred the previous trailers.

One thing about Nolan is that his movies are very plain and dull looking. If Avengers or Spiderman is very colourful with lots of spice, Nolan's movies have little colour and lack spice. It's typically English.

No doubt this movie will go on to make HUGE sums of money.

The best thing I like about Nolan's movies are the soundtracks. The soundtrack for Inception was probably the most epic music I have heard in a long long time.

batman is the dark night. not the neon fluorescent night... if it was all bright and daylight his black outfit would stand out. its hard for the avengers NOT to be colourful when most of the characters are green or bright blue or gold :D

I like this trailer for some reason (the 3rd one).

Sunama, the Inception soundtrack was epic because Hans Zimmer is a musical genius. Although, the soundtracks to Nolan's films do tend to be good.

As for Batman being darker, that's something that comes with it being a DC comics film. The reason the others are so much brighter is because they're Marvel films.

Still need to watch Avengers. Add that to the list with this and Paradise Lost 3, and this is an amazing summer for films.

Also, despite what people say about Heath Ledger's joker, I still prefer Batman 1 to Batman 2.

I prefer Batman Begins. Dark Knight was far too long.

Also, I realise that people like Ledger's Joker, but have they seen J.Nicholson in the 1989 Batman movie. For me Nicholson's performance was much better as he genuinely came across as completely bonkers. Ledger came across as someone who was a little mis-guided but was (for the most part), all there.

I'm wondering if Ledger would've garnered so much praise had he not died.

With regards to the dullness of Nolan movies: this is just an observation. The same was in Inception. The colours were barely saturated. His movies are very subtle and understated. The complete opposite of JJ Abrams or Michael Bay.

Ledger wasn't ever planning on doing a total copy of Nicholson's Joker performance. Ledger made it his own, and made the Joker much more horrifying. I think he makes a much better joker than Nicholson.

He absolutely would have gotten the attention if he didn't die - I hate it when people say things like this. I remember hearing people say "The film only did so well because he died". I look forward to seeing how well this movie does and throwing it back in their faces :p

Nah sorry chaps if anything I thought the second trailer was better and I was left feeling disappointed by that as well :(

I remember the Nicholson Batman, for me Ledger's was hugely better.

Don't get me wrong, Nicholson was a very good Joker, but Ledger took it to a whole new level for me.

HL was superb. whether he died or not it shows how good he was.

i dont like overly saturated movies. i hate shaky cam. i hate added grain. i like to see things how my eyes would see them. i hate things like lens flare too. its like newbie photoshop 'oooh i found a filter' :)
