Who here owns a VXR

Mine has the Z20LEH (VXR) Engine
I test drove the GSi Turbo (about 6 years ago) before I decided to buy my EP3 type R. Although not as 'fun' it was a nice ride and had way more creature comforts/nicer interior.
I like the Monaro on page 1.
Used to own an Astra VXR.
Very good all round car.
Awesome in a straight line and ok around the corners.
I thought it was better than it was in the corners until I drove my current MX5.
Thus I find the below slightly hard to believe however mine had no suspension mods and I know from the VXR forums they help a lot.

Yup, Precise, Sharp and Direct. No understeer either

Indeed, it's a good car imo.
Halfords spray paint about a fiver:
Just cooking them both for another 5min then going to wet sand them and laquer them. Should be spot on.
Well I messed up. Now have 1 Arden blue cover on near side and a dog poo bag on the offside.
Fantastic.
Is it a CS3?
I have 2 friends getting rid of theirs if you know anybody who's interested.

Yup. First pic in OP, back left tyre. Brand new. 
Just had to order another wing mirror cover today. Over cooked one then had a hissy fit and broke it more and binned it. Little one got me playing on Wii, 20minute later I remembered to check oven. To late.

Yesterday I posted up on the VRX Boards a picture of my locking wheel nuts and a guy from this company looked into it for me and the exact match locking wheel nut key came through the letterbox this morning. All for £12.
Not bad to say Vauxhall Chesterfield wanted to charge me £31+vat for a locking wheel nut key alone and because I didn't have a key number they then wanted to knock off my locking wheel nuts.

Owned a Corsa VXR for a little over three years......
Was decent car to won overall. Fun to drive at time
How did you find the reliability during your time of ownership?
I would say it was okay. Fun car to drive.
I purchased mine brand new and was fine until the engine went pop. When I tried to get Phoney Motorsport to fix it, they declined. So I got legal on them. Eventually the engine was replaced!
So I've had one new engine, radiator needed replacing as it was leaking coolant..... Ah also had to replace a brake caliper and hand brake cable.
Minus the engine issue the car was fine with me.
Was yours modified in anyway?
