Thats just the dashboard, it would be surrounded by many screens aka windows

oldschool, this looks a lot cheaper to do.

I used to know someone who also had the flight charts +A0 size, a map filled the entire wall of the house

For that money they should have stuck 3 projectors in it and hooked them up to an eyefinity setup. Obviously the projectors would be behind the screen like the old projection tvs..

I have to admit I didn't, personally the eyefinity setups etc just don't cut it for me. I'm still waiting for a true immersive experience.
We are getting there though what with the moving floors and 360 screens you mentioned.
