just a heads up for anyone needing wiperblades

goodyear blades in a selection of sizes £3 each or £6+vat a pair,

flung a set on the 2 vectras and the wifes focus, seem pretty decent from the first couple of hours use, and i'd imagine with a brand name like goodyear they shouldnt be Too bad

Bought a set of these last time they were on offer.

Not great to be honest, they're quite hard and don't work well on the bottom right of the screen where it curves. Wipers tend to miss here when they're getting on a bit, these were missing bits from new.

Bought a set of 'premium' blades in Ford main dealers for £12 at the weekend. Purely an impulse buy but as the Halfords ones are rubbing after only a month of use I thought I'd try them out.

CBA to put them on though.

I thought it was just me! I had to go back and get the clip for the second wiper that they didn't put in the box!

Mine are still fine, I'll get some more soon as mine are starting to smear a bit now. They've lasted a good year though.

i bought 2 of these, and took them back. Didn't get a good seal against the window and left bits unwiped, and squeaked. rubbish, at least on the e92

these killed my vectra :(

its obviously rebelling against the fitment of non OEM parts and threw a hissy fit yesterday. taxi drvier logic dictates that crappy wiper blades have cost me a diesel pump :(

My last 2 sets were from Costco. They were OK but didn't last very long.

Now got some valeo Aero ones and seem much better plus silence! :)

Just because they're goodyear doesn't mean they're good :p

Just because some blades cost a lot doesn't make them good either.

I think to date that I have probably used the majority of brands and types out there from £5 to £35.
