The Official Keep Burnsy Amused for the next 5 hours thread.

where abouts are you exactly ?

as theres plenty of places normaly open 24/7 if you know where to look.

I think he might be in Japan but it's hard to tell, he's keeping things quite close to his chest

Ok guys I get the point, but bare with me a little? It takes time writing stuff on this keyboard. I'll be frank. I'm in Tokyo somewhere, I don't know my exact location.

ok well if your in tokyo trains should start at 530am or there abouts. or at least the JR circular line does normaly so you only have an hour.

but if your near roppongi gas panic club is open till about 6am and theres a place next to it the staff go to party till around 10am.

but if you get lost just find the nearest JR green line and you can pritty much follow it around tokyo on foot.

Rather than finding ever increasingly bizarre ways of telling everyone you are in Japan, why not spend the 5 hours writing a really interesting thread about what its actually like in Japan? Japan is a country that fascinates many of us but that few of us have ever or will ever visit. Therefore actual experiences from somebody who is there would be very interesting. Tell us what its like. What you've seen. What you like. What you don't. Why you went. etc.

Post a great thread about Japan rather than increasingly bizare 'People get it on next to me btw I'm in Japan' threads.

So - whats Japan like?

Fox, you read me wrong, honestly you do. That said, your questions would make me use a bit of time I have to burn.

A few observations:

Why do they put mayo on absolutely everything? Mayo has no place on a Pizza.

There are vending machines everywhere, I mean in a typical 100m section of road there will be at least 3. Typically they only have drinks in them though.

I know the Japanese relationship with sex is different to the west and complex. I'm still not sure I understand it at all but I was in a shopping mall and there was a ad with a girl perhaps 13 years old wearing quite provocative underwear. I felt pretty uncomfortable and it was bad enough not to take a photo of it and tweet about it. The amount of strip clubs can be rather overwhelming at times too, although I haven't ventured in one yet.

You have the choice of a Japanese strip club or OcUK and choose OcUK? Get the hell into that strip club now and go Hiroshima on those bitches.

My friend has fallen asleep and we're not going anywhere until 7:30. He's mentioned roppongi and said that it was a **** hole. I don't think it's on the itinerary.

mayo thing who knows,

vending machines due to the amount of offices and people on the go. and the fact no one trys to smash them to bits like they would here.

probably more like 19 than 13, asian women look young. met a 40 year old who litrally looked 21.

well yeah its nearly 5am and you wanted something open, dont expect it to be the nicest place.

and why not go anywhere till 7:30 ?!

do you know the location your hotel is at and what its called as im sure you could get to it pritty soon.

if you dont know the above find out and buy a map and learn some place names.

I would usually be careful to judge, but it was a white girl and however I looked at it, she couldn't be much more than 13. I know I struggle to place the age of Japanese girls, so take that with a bucket of salt.

How long have you been there, how long are you there for, where are you going and where have you been? I would be quite intrigued to hear of your experience in Japan.
