So rather than explore the amazing city that is Tokyo, your choosing to sit in a wooden cubical on OcUK. Just... why!?

I've stuck to Tokyo so far, I've been all over the place but can only remember a few place names. I've been to Ginza and I'm staying in Asakusa. My friend lives here so, he's introduced me to a load of his Japanese friends.　They've taken me to some awesome restaurants　that only the locals know.
 
Stop making these threads, it keeps making me want to go back :( When I was there last year it was one of the best times I've had. Where are you staying at the moment or heading too?

Some other observations:

The Japanese love their pop music. There is a group called AKB48, consisting of over 50 group members. Their pictures are EVERYWHERE, it's difficult find a place where you cant see a poster or another ad.

Their game centers are awesome. There is loads of variety in the genre and there are loads of centres to choose from. There are games involving cards which seem to be quite addictive.

I like the idea of police boxes all over the place rather than UK super stations as seems the thing in the UK.

They have restaurants everywhere and they're usually of pretty good quality.
