So what is everyone using now at this stage? I'm still on 12.4 beta with latest CAP but the not clocking up issue is starting to do my head in. I tried disabling sleep mode and ULPS but it still gets stuck at 501 Mhz.

The 12.3's and below don't give good feel in BF3 which is why I'm still on 12.4 beta. The only other that feels ok is RC11.

After installing 12.4 WHQL BF3 feels like absolute ****, as if I'm getting half the FPS displayed, unplayable to me.

I currently have 3 different size versions of 12.5 and I've tried one of them with and without CAP and I get a little bit of black line screen tearing and then a BSOD.

I got an offer for the 7970's earlier and TBH I'd nearly take it if I can't sort it soon even though I just got a 700D.

So what cards and drivers/CAP's are you all using and what games are you playing? Before anyone asks I've tried normal uninstalls and ATIman. Thanks.

12.4 and newest caps. In BF3, all set to ultra at 2560x1440 but I force v-sync on and it's smooth as anything, if I leave v-sync off it feels horrible even though the frame rate is massive. No problems other than that in BF3.

Crysis 2 all ultra again with v-sync on. I had to set everything in catylyst to application set otherwise I was getting really weird fps. Occasionally I will start it up and be getting 40fps,restart it,same scene and 60fps. Inconsistant and it's clearly down to software, GPU utilisation is buggered up sometimes.

Witcher 2 everything set to max. Cut scenes and dialogue drop to 20fps but if I play it for long enough they shoot up to 60. Can't figure out why it's doing that, but it's amazingly annoying when it's chugging along at a rubbish fps as I know it can do way more. Think it's a combination of the game and the drivers.

Long story short RC11 + 12.4 CAP 1.

They are the quickest, smoothest and most stable combo I have found.

They are also stable at clocks over 1.3GHZ, the others are not (12.2, 12.3, 12.4).
