I'm not really sure what to make of it.

Many people said the One X screen put the one on the Nexus to shame, so if the S3 screen is actually worse than that, there will only be one winner (unless you're worried about black levels, of course).



How important to you are benchmarks, that's the only real question there.

Benchmarks no. It was more the supposed extra battery life on offer

Physical home button is a real plus - hate waking the phone up with the side/top button - esp on a big phone - bottom usb port is another plus for my dock.

I'm proper into all these comparisons at the moment, and i thought i was decided on getting the One X but now the S3 overall disappointment has died down and it beating One X in all the benchmarks i don't know which to buy again.

I need to know what to tell mobiles.co.uk when they ring me tomorrow.

I seem to be one of the few that like the design. Overall the spec's aren't very exciting but anyone that follows the tech industry would have known that this is about the best that Samsung could have done. A15 based SoC aren't ready and neither are Rogue/T-608/T-658 GPU's. LTE isn't out isn't out in Europe so that holds no interest to us.

It will be interesting to see how people react to the 4.8 screen. That's a hell of a jump from the SII.

It still looks like a characterless, glossy plastic Huawei to me.

White one is the one that will sell more, blue is kinda odd... It's OK but it just looks slightly off to me. It's a nice phone, it's a shame it wasn't a tiny bit better but I think it's a more well rounded device than the one X. Congrats in advance to all those who managed to grab one of the first 1000
