Hello,

I have another project.

I sent one of my Voodoo5 6000 Rev.3700A to http://liquid-extasy.de/

I ask him to build two Waterblocks for this card :

You don't get it ;)
It is way before you time! :D

I know its a rare card and it was good in its day but its 12 years old now, its like me getting the 8800GTX/Ultra as they stick out as the best cards i ever tinkered with, waiting another 6-7 years and getting a waterblock for it, makes no sense.

Point is here ---> .

You are here ---> .

One huge difference here between the Voodoo 5 6000 and the 8800GTX is that the voodoo was never released.

Look my first Voodoo5 6000 rev.3700A with a Geforce 8800 Ultra:

It's a classic. And projects like this are 'because they can'. I for one love this kind of madness. /salute

Hehe reminds me of my 3DFX Voodoo 2 Banshee I had when I was a kid. 233Mhz Cyrix CPU combined with it lol those were the days. I remember drooling over how great Motocross Madness looked at 800x600 :D

From a logical stand point this project is utterly stupid and worthless.

However -For every question of why there is the answer of why not, and for that reason I love this.

but... will it blend?

Had a Vodoo 2 card when I was a kid with a board packed full of ISA slots. This thread has caused me to nostalgia everywhere, I remember playing "Incoming" all of my free time.

It looks good.... in terms of logics its pointless, as the card today can't even run a lot of games :p

However on the brag factor, "cos I can" point of view I salute you to a job well done, but question is does it work ? :P
